  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 can (12 oz) evaporated milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
  3. Add eggs and whole milk; mix until smooth.
  4. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. In another bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and remaining whole milk.
  6. Poke holes in the cooled cake and pour the milk mixture evenly over it. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  7. Before serving, whip heavy cream with vanilla extract until soft peaks form and spread on top of the cake.
