- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup aged cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 cup Gruyère cheese, grated
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter (for greasing)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Peel and slice the potatoes thinly (about 1/8 inch).
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Whisk in heavy cream until warmed.
- Add cheddar, Gruyère, and Parmesan cheeses to the cream mixture; stir until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a greased baking dish, layer half of the potato slices evenly. Pour half of the cheese sauce over them. Repeat with remaining potatoes and sauce.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil; bake an additional 20 minutes until golden brown.
