  • 20 wonton wrappers
  • 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4 green onions, chopped (divided)
  • 4 oz ramen noodles (fresh or dried)
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil (for frying)
  • 2 lime wedges

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filling: In a bowl, mix finely chopped chicken thighs, grated ginger, minced garlic, and half of the green onions until well combined.
  2. Make the Gyoza: Place about 1 tablespoon of filling on each wonton wrapper. Moisten edges with water and fold to seal.
  3. Fry the Gyoza: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry gyoza for 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Add ¼ cup water and cover to steam for about 5 minutes.
  4. Create the Broth: In another pot, simmer chicken broth over medium heat. Stir in soy sauce and remaining green onions.
  5. Cook Ramen Noodles: Add ramen noodles to the broth according to package instructions (about 3-4 minutes).
  6. Assemble Bowls: Place ramen noodles in bowls, ladle hot broth over them, and top with crispy gyoza. Squeeze lime wedges before serving.
