- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tsp cornstarch
- Cooked rice or noodles (for serving)
Instructions
- Wash and chop the broccoli into bite-sized pieces. Mince the garlic and grate the ginger.
- Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, cornstarch, honey, garlic, and ginger. Mix well and let marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add sesame oil.
- Add marinated chicken pieces in a single layer. Cook until golden brown (about 5-7 minutes total).
- Toss in broccoli florets and stir-fry until bright green and tender-crisp (about 3-4 minutes).
- Pour remaining marinade into the pan and cook until slightly thickened. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
