Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 34 pieces)
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • Cooked rice or noodles (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Wash and chop the broccoli into bite-sized pieces. Mince the garlic and grate the ginger.
  2. Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, cornstarch, honey, garlic, and ginger. Mix well and let marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat and add sesame oil.
  4. Add marinated chicken pieces in a single layer. Cook until golden brown (about 5-7 minutes total).
  5. Toss in broccoli florets and stir-fry until bright green and tender-crisp (about 3-4 minutes).
  6. Pour remaining marinade into the pan and cook until slightly thickened. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
